We have worked professionally with photographic images & printing for over ten years: scanning original large format transparencies and 35mm negatives, working with digital images, color correcting and preparing the images for printing on many different types of printers and papers for fine art photography prints, magazine, calendar and photography book publications. From this combined experience, we have found a mix of products & methodology that allows us to produce consistent, high quality archival photography prints with an impressive color gamut at an affordable price.
From this mix we have selected three different photographic papers for you to choose from, available for all images so that you can have not only the photographic image you want but your preferred finish and texture of the photography print... and a choice of prices.
The Archival quality of a photography print is not just the paper, it's the combination of the paper, the inks and the printer that make the difference. HP's Vivera Pigment Inks for their Designjet Z series printers with a 12 ink printing system give life and vibrance to photography prints. In addition, the printer has a Gloss Enhancer ink to minimize gloss differential and image "bronzing" that can occur with glossy, semigloss and satin photography papers. A built-in spectrophotometer (based on GretagMacbeth/X-rite Eye-One technology) calibrates/linearizes the printer producing accurate ICC profiles on a wide range of photography papers, fine-art papers and canvas materials.
The combination of our HP Designjet Z3100 and our selection of photography papers produce exquisite high quality photography prints that have excellent Print Permanence Ratings from HP's Image Permanence Lab and Wilhelm Image Research.
